Bed knives are a highly machined piece of metal that is typically used as the blade of an industrial-sized lawn mower. These blades can be made from a variety of metals, but here at Fisher Barton we use our ‘tried-and-true’ patented Marbain material to result in a superior product and a longer blade life. The expected life of Fisher Barton bed knives is about 2 years. The blades are designed by engineering teams that bring together years of experience and expertise in bed knife manufacturing. We’ve been designing and producing bed knives for over 10 years and produce an average of 100,000 blades annually.
