Disk Mower Blades

Disk Mower Blades

Disk mower blades are typically 3-4 inches long and are the sharp ends that attach to a disk mower shell, more commonly called a ‘turtle shell’. The most common configuration for these blades would be ten turtle shells per tractor cutter head and two disk mower blades per turtle shell. Generally, disk mower blades are used for cutting hay, large grass fields, or mowing weeds. Here at Fisher Barton, our disk mower blades are manufactured from our patented Marbain material and finished with our wear-resistant coating, and as a result are light-weight, ductile and strong. Fisher Barton is a source for providing disk mower blades to the forage division of OEM’s around the United States.
